Welcome to The Back Forty, where the fields are golden, the trails wind through towering corn, and every visit is a new adventure. Our corn maze is a beloved fall tradition right here in the heart of South Dakota.

From From Andover

continue on Highway 12 east for 1.5 miles and turn left on the curve to continue on 12A. At the stop sign, turn left and go north on Highway 27 for 2 miles. Turn right and go east on 134th Street for 3.5 miles.

From From Bristol

Go north on County Road 33 for 6 miles and then turn left on 134th Street for a half mile.

From From Pierpont

Go south on Highway 27 for 4 miles. Turn left and go east on 134th Street for 3.5 miles.

Maze Guidelines

Guidelines for a safe and enjoyable visit

We want everyone to have a fantastic time at our corn maze! To ensure the safety of all our guests, staff, and animals, and to help us continue offering this event every year, we kindly ask that you follow these guidelines:

  • Admission: Please purchase your admission at the entrance.

  • Respect the Maze: Stay on designated paths and avoid creating new ones. Please do not pick or damage the corn stalks or ears of corn.

  • No Smoking: Smoking is not permitted on the farm. If you need to smoke please do so in the driveway then dispose of your bud in the can outside the farm store. We have many flammable objects. On the gravel in the driveway is the ONLY place smoking is allowed.

  • Animal Safety: Do not feed the animals. Please wash your hands after interacting with them.

  • Pets: Dogs are NOT allowed at the Corn Maze except our farm dogs and registered service animals. Our farm dogs venture over to the corn maze from time to time. This is their territory and they are used to running where they like. Please be kind to them. We ask that you leave your pets at home, unless they are certified service animals.

  • Supervision: Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult while in the maze.
