Compound herbal butter on a steak

Compound Butter

Add some more delicious flavor to any steak with this compound butter recipe.

We purchased a herbal basket from vendors (West Acres) at our local farmer's market. We are super excited to use the fresh herbs to add flavor to many future recipes.

You will need

  • 1/2 cup of softened butter
  • 1/4 cup fresh herbs: minced rosemary, parsley, thyme, and basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • One teaspoon of pepper

Snip fresh herbs with kitchen scissors until herbs are finely minced.

Use right away or store herb butter in a small sealed container with a lid. It will keep in the fridge for a week.
