Beef Pot Pie

Nothing beats the comfort of a hearty, homemade beef pot pie made with our premium, homegrown Back Forty Beef. This savory dish combines tender beef, fresh vegetables, and a flaky golden crust to create a meal that's as satisfying as it is delicious. Include your littles in the cooking of this dish — super easy and fun for them.
Ingredients
- 1 lb Back Forty ground beef (cooked)
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup (10 oz)
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 1/2 cups frozen vegetables (broccoli, peas, carrots, or your favorites)
- 1 can creamed corn (10 oz, do not drain)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 12 oz refrigerated biscuits
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and spray a 9x13 baking dish with non-stick spray.
- In a bowl, mix cooked beef, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, cheese, milk, cream corn, frozen veggies, and seasonings until evenly combined.
- Pour into pan.
- Separate each biscuit into halves, then cut into smaller pieces. Press pieces into the mixture, leaving some space between them.
- Brush the biscuit tops with melted butter.
- Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 20-25 minutes, or until biscuits are golden and fully cooked.
- Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
