Shop our beef
At Back Forty Beef, our Simmental/Angus cattle are pasture-raised and grain-finished, producing beef with the perfect marbling, tenderness, and rich flavor you’d expect from a gourmet steak. All of our beef is processed at a USDA-inspected meat locker and aged for 21 days to enhance flavor and tenderness.
Pick-Up Options
On-Farm Pick-Up: Pick up your beef directly from our farm or at our Corn Maze during fall season operating hours. We will reach out to you to arrange a pick up time.
Aberdeen Deliveries: We deliver to Eddie’s Northside Sinclair in Aberdeen every Tuesday morning by 10:00 AM. Orders can be picked up at Eddie’s anytime that week at your convenience. Orders must be placed by Monday at 6:00 PM. Be sure to select this option in the “Pick-Up” section at checkout.
Britton Deliveries: On Mondays, we deliver to cups. on Main Street in Britton by 10:00 AM. You can pick up your order anytime that week at your convenience. Orders must be placed by Sunday at 6:00 PM. Be sure to choose this option in the “Pick-Up” section at checkout.
Groton Pick-Up: We deliver to Groton! Once your order is placed, we will reach out to arrange a delivery time or meet-up location in town.
Webster Pick-Up: We deliver to Webster! Once your order is placed, we will reach out to arrange a delivery time or meet-up location in town.

Order Processing
Orders placed by noon on Sunday will ship on Monday. Orders placed after this time will ship the following week.
SpeeDee Next-Day Shipping
Available to residents of South Dakota, Minnesota, and North Dakota. Enjoy our flat shipping rate of $25 per 20 lb. box. Because of the box size and to ensure your package arrives frozen we require a 10lb minimum.
SpeeDee Next-Two Day Shipping
Available to residents of Iowa, Nebraska, Illinois, and Wisconsin. Some areas may receive orders within two days instead of one. Enjoy our flat shipping rate of $30 per 20 lb. box. Because of the box size and to ensure your package arrives frozen we require a 10lb minimum.
Nationwide Shipping
We proudly ship our South Dakota-raised beef anywhere in the lower 48 states!
Our standard shipping boxes hold 12 lbs of beef.
If your order exceeds 12 lbs, it may require an additional box. Because of the box size and to ensure your package arrives frozen we require a 5lb minimum.
If an extra box is needed, we will contact you to confirm it is ok and invoice you before shipping, as our system cannot process multiple shipping rates at checkout.
