Beef Pot Pie
Nothing beats the comfort of a hearty, homemade beef pot pie made with our premium, homegrown Back Forty Beef. This savory dish combines tender beef, fresh vegetables, and a flaky golden crust to create a meal that’s as satisfying as it is delicious. Include your littles in the cooking of this dish. Here’s what you’ll need:
Ingredients:
1 lb Back Forty ground beef (cooked)
1 can cream of mushroom soup (10 oz)
1 cup sour cream
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup milk
2 1/2 cups frozen vegetables (broccoli, peas, carrots, or your favorites)
1 can creamed corn (10 oz do not drain)
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
2 tbsp melted butter
12 oz refrigerated biscuits
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F and spray a 9x13 baking dish with non-stick spray.
In a bowl, mix cooked beef, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, cheese, milk, cream corn, frozen veggies, and seasonings until evenly combined.
Pour into pan.
Separate each biscuit into halves, then cut into smaller pieces. Press pieces into the mixture, leaving some space between them.
Brush the biscuit tops with melted butter.
Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 20-25 minutes, or until biscuits are golden and fully cooked.
Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
